Rev. Todd J. Neveu

Pastor Todd J. Neveu, 45, of North Huntingdon, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at his home. He was born Sept. 13, 1965, in Providence, R.I., a son of Albert and Marie Neveu, of Lincoln, R.I. Todd was the devoted senior pastor of Calvary Assembly Church in Irwin. He was the current president of the Norwin Ministerium, and a very active member of the Norwin Area Chamber of Commerce, where he served on several committees, including the Good Friday Breakfast Committee. Todd graduated from Southeastern University of Lakeland, Fla., with a bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministries, and also graduated from New England Tech with a degree in architecture. Todd started the Bible program at Norwin Senior High School. He was very active in missions, both in the United States and foreign countries. Todd was passionate about people. All of his selfless service was not only for the good of the people of his church but the entire community. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Sarver Neveu; two daughters, Nicoletta and Olivia Neveu, both at home; a sister, Karen Gamble, of Glocester, R.I.; a brother, Stephen Neveu, of Tennessee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 504 Oak St., Irwin. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Calvary Assembly Church with the Rev. Paul Peternel officiating. Anyone attending the funeral service is asked to please go directly to church.
